Regulated Field Protection

The app protects the fields with regulated data in the interface of Salesforce, as follows:

Protected fields

Protected fields with regulated data

All the protected fields will show the Redacted value instead of the actual value. This way users from countries different from the origin country will not be able to view the regulated data.

Searching for records

You can use the partial-matching search to look up for Salesforce records.

  1. In the bottom part of the page, locate the InCountry Search option and click it.

    Locate Search

  2. Select the Salesforce object to search for.

  3. In the Search box, enter the text query to search.

  4. Click Search.

If any records match your search are found, you will see them in search results.

note

The InCountry for Salesforce app looks up only in the fields that were configured as searchable with the selected key.
